Empties

How do you know you have some hoarding tendencies? Probably due to the fact that even though you weren't blogging for six months, you still hold on to some (a lot of) empty products you wanted to potentially write about sometime in the future.
And here we are today, with the products (first half of them) worthy / so disappointing that I had to save for half a year.

Empties_hair_products_shampoo

1. Pantene Pro V Clarifying shampoo: This has lasted me almost a lifetime considering that it was a huge bottle and that I only used it when I felt like my hair had too much buildup. It worked perfectly and I'm sad that I couldn't repurchase it in London since they didn't have it in any Boots I've visited.
Would I repurchase? Instantly, if I could find it.

2. Swiss O Par Silver shampoo: I though this was good until I've tried the purple shampoo I'm currently using. I did find it to be better than the L'Oreal one I had before and I like the fact that it's cheap and available in Slovenia.
Would I repurchase? Maybe, but probably not.

3. L'Oreal Elvital Tonerde Absolue pflegeshampoo (Extraordinary clay re-balancing shampoo): This targets hair that oily roots and dry ends, which is something I tend to have, but I did buy it by mistake cause I wanted to try the one that's from the same line, but targets dandruff. Honestly, I can't remember much about it, but I know that I didn't hate it yet it didn't blew me away either.
Would I repurchase? No.

4. Subrina Vitamines & strength shampoo*: This one on the other hand, really surprised me. In a great way. It cleaned my hair really well, but it also left is very soft, smooth and shiny. Also, the scent reminds me of a men's cologne - doesn't get much better than that.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

5. Catwalk by Tigi Oatmeal & Honey nourishing shampoo: I found these big bottles (including the conditioner) in TK Maxx in Seiersberg and at first I really liked it cause it was super nourishing. But with prolonged use, I found that it was too much for my hair - it made it get greasy way too quickly and it weighted it down.
Would I repurchase? Maybe a smaller bottle.

6. Neutrogena T/Gel total shampoo: I bought this because of Mateja and I have to agree with her; it's the most effective dandruff shampoo that I've ever tried. It got rid of the flakiness on my scalp with one use and it kept it that way for around a month or so. A little goes a long way with this one, which is also great. One thing to keep in mind though, it STINKS. Thankfully, I didn't notice that the scent would linger on my hair.
Would I repurchase? Definitely!

7. Aussie Miracle Moist Conditioner*: I won't talk much about it, cause I've made a whole post dedicated to Aussie products, here.  It was okay, but nothing special.
Would I repurchase? No.

8. Le Petit Marseillais shampoo for coloured hair: You know how I mentioned that some products were so disappointing, I had to hold on to them? This is one of those. We HATED this. Not me, not my sister and not even my mum could get on board with it. Not only did it give me dandruff and crazily irritated & itchy scalp, but it also made my hair look like I didn't even washed it. HORRIBLE.
Would I repurchase? Not even if it was the last shampoo on Earth.

9.  L'Oreal Elnett de Luxe ultra strong hairspray: I was always buying small version of L'Oreal hairsprays cause I rarely use it, but some time ago, I decided to get the bigger size and I really like it. It's not sticky, but holds the hair in its place all day long.
Would I repurchase? Already did.

10. Catwalk by Tigi Oatmeal & Honey nourishing conditioner: I really, really liked this. It's probably one of the best conditioners I've ever used. Soft, smooth, detangled hair that smells amazing, who wouldn't want that?
Would I repurchase? Yes.

11. Subrina Vitamines & strength conditioner*: The same as the shampoo, this also surprised me in a positive way. My hair really loved this combination and I think I might go back to it at some point.
Would I repurchase? Definitely.

12. Aussie 3 Minute Miracle shine* & reconstructor*: Again, here is the detailed review on these two, but I'll tell you that I already repurchased the reconstructor since.
Would I repurchase? Yes, the recunstroctor.

13. Dove Reparatur-pflege anti-haarbruch 1 minute kur-spülung (repair care anti-breakage): I used to be obsessed with the gold version of this, but I must have purchased this one instead once, and forgot about it. I definitely remembered why I loved these Dove conditioners so much, they're straight up amazing.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

14. Kemon Actyva Disciplina mask: I got this from my hairdresser and she said I could use it as a conditioner, which I've been doing recently (I'm on my second tube) and I'm really liking the results. My hair looks and feels really nourished, smooth and healthy. My sister is also a big fan since it does wonders for her tangled hair.
Would I repurchase? I would.

15. Aussie Miracle Dry shampoo & Beach Mate dry shampoo: I already mentioned in that Aussie post how I really didn't like the Miracle Dry shampoo, so I don't really know why I decided to purchase another one. I do have to say that the Beach Mate one did perform better / gave better results, but the spray nozzle broke after a few uses. Definitely staying away from Aussie dry shampoos now.
Would I repurchase? No.

16. Batiste Sweetie dry shampoo: I definitely used up more then one bottle of Batiste, but I had to include this one, cause it's by far my favourite scent that they do. It's like a legit perfume for you hair and you can smell it for sooo long. Obsessed.
Would I repurchase? Already did.

17. Afrodita Hair Professional Serum 10 in 1*: I don't really know what to say about this one. I did use it up, but I wasn't too keep on it. I had to be very careful to use the right amount so it wouldn't make my hair look greasy, but I also didn't feel like it actually nourished the ends of my hair. I'm staying loyal to proper hair oils.
Would I repurchase? No.

18. Balea LE Meeres-rauschen duschgel mit Limettern und Minz-Duft (shower gel with lime and mint): Balea really knows how to make shower gels that smell to die for, this one was definitely one of those. It's nothing special otherwise, but the scent was so uplifting and refreshing, I absolutely loved it.
Would I repurchase? Yes, if it's still available.

19. Afrodita Shave & Shower shaving & shower gel: I bought it mainly because I was drawn to the idea of it, but I unfortunately didn't like it at all - not as a shower gel and even less as a shaving gel.
Would I repurchase? No.

20. Afrodita Secret Garden Romantic Peony cream shower gel* & Magnolia Blossom oil shower gel*:  These two were my favourites out of the Secret Garden collection of shower gels. They both felt very luxurious on the skin and they're also nicely moisturising.
Would I repurchase? Yes, both of them.

21. Fa Cream & oil cocoa butter with coca oil shower gel: This, this, this is IMPRESSIVE! I think it's one of my favourite shower gels that I've ever tried. Not only does it smell heavenly, but it also has this rich, creamy and nourishing formula that leaves your skin so soft & smooth, you don't even need to use a moisturiser after.
Would I repurchase? Without a doubt!

22. Yves Rocher Strawberry shower gel: It's been awhile since I've used Yves Rocher products, but as soon as I got this as a gift, it made me want to place an online order. I really like the packaging and especially the fact that the scent is so authentic, it actually smells like a bottle of freshly squeezed strawberries (can you even squeeze a strawberry?).
Would I repurchase? Yes.

23. Oriflame Milk & Honey sugar scrub*: This product also has its dedicated post - here, but it definitely was one of my favourite scrubs that I've used.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

24. Dvorec Trebnik Juicy Orange shower gel*: Another shower gel that smells absolutely divine and leaves your skin nicely moisturised. Fun fact: Dvorec Trebnik is actually an old mansion in the town I live in.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

25. Avon Naturals body care Escape coconut & starfruit shower gel*: Ah, this makes me miss seaside so much, since I took it with me last year. It's definitely a summer scent and it felt so fresh and cooling on my sun-kissed skin.
Would I repurchase? Definitely.

26.  CD Lemon shower gel*: If I remember correctly, I used this in the Summer as well and I really liked how refreshing the lemon scent was.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

Have you tried any of these products? Let me know what you thought about them.

*The products marked with * were given to me by companies. I didn't buy them with my money. But that didn't and won't ever affect my opinion about the products in any way. The review is based on my personal experience with the product.*

  1. That Oatmeal & Honey shampoo and conditioner sounds sooooo amazing! I hate it when shampoos like the one from le petit Marseillais are horrible and you feel cheated on by the company! I didn't even know they made shampoos, I thought they only had shower gels and creams :p

Zveni zanimivo :)

  3. Meni je bil Aussiejev Beach Mate še slabši od Miracle Dry, po nekje 15 minutah so se mi lasje nazaj zmastili in to dvakrat bolj. Še najhujšemu sovražniku nebi priporočala teh dveh suhih šamponov :D
L'orealovi Elnett hairsprayi so mi trenutno najljubši :)

  4. L'Oreal šampon imam jaz tudi. Mi je všeč. Tak dober, ni pa nek presežek. Tigi oatmeal sem imela masko za lase, ampak me ni navdušila.
