Pamper Yourself With Oriflame Milk & Honey Gold Products*

Sunday, April 10, 2016

I'm a firm believer that there are only a handful of problems a good pampering session can't/won't fix.
Feeling stressed or down? Scrub those negative feelings off! Feeling tired of sleepy? Treat yourself with a heavenly scented shower gel and give yourself a warm hug in the form of a luxuriously feeling body cream. Finish everything off with a fresh pair of pyjama's, that warm & cosy bathrobe and you'll be ready to take on the world once again.  And this Oriflame Milk & Honey Gold* range of products will help you do just that.

If you clicked on this post you most likely agree with the statement I made above & appreciate a good pampering evening just like I do. And what better day to do just that then Sunday?
So allow me to talk you through the products that I have been using for my pampering Sundays recently.

The Milk & Honey Gold Softening Creamy Soap Bar* is the product that didn't wow me when I tried using it on my body. I'm a fan of shower gels, but I decided to give it a try anyway and I didn't like how my skin felt afterwards - quite tight and dry. But I do like using it to wash my hands or to wash my Real Techniques make-up sponge.
Like the rest of the products from this range, it has a soft, warm scent that isn't overpowering or doesn't smell like true honey too much, which I appreciate cause I'm not a fan of honey. The engraved name of the range on the soap is another beautiful detail, that makes it look & feel luxurious.
For a 75g bar of soap you'll pay 2,59€ (here).

And now onto the products that actually really impressed me, starting with the Milk & Honey Gold Moisturising Shower Cream*.
Another thing that all of the products have in common and that I really like (in addition to the scent) is the packaging. I really think all of the products are beautifully designed, elegant and a nice ''decorating'' touch to your bathroom. Using products like these will definitely make your pampering routine even more relaxing and enjoyable.
The shower cream lathers up very easily, has a pearly consistency that's a bit on the thicker/richer side and is indeed moisturising. My skin always feels very soft, nourished and lightly fragranced after I use this. I could definitely get away with not using a body lotion after using this shower cream, which is great if you tend to forget to use a body lotion/skip the moisturising step.
You get 200 ml in this bottle and it retails for 6,99€ (here), which definitely isn't the cheapest when it comes to shower gels, but I do think it's worth the money.

When I want to truly pamper myself, a good body scrub is an essential product for me. Body scrubs always make the biggest difference in how my skin feels & looks, so I love trying out different ones.
The Oriflame Milk & Honey Gold Smoothing Sugar Scrub* is as the name would suggest, a scrub based on sugar, which is not the most abrasive scrub out there, but it still does an amazing job at removing dead skin, making it a lot softer and smoother. Another big plus is the fact that a little goes a long way with it, it's easy to use (you don't create any mess in your shower), it doesn't leave any oily residue on your skin and that it doesn't dry out my skin either. I find the scent of it a bit sweeter and it also has a completely gold packaging.
Although I've tried quite a lot of body scrubs so far, I have to say that this one is definitely on my top favourites list. You get 200 ml in the squeeze tube, and it's currently marked down to 6,99€ (from 9,99€ here).

As soon as I saw the packaging of the Milk & Honey Gold Nourishing Hand & Body Cream* it reminded me of the famous Laura Mercier bath products for some reason. The packaging is plastic, but it looks much more expensive & luxurious to me. So much so that I'll for sure be keeping it after I use up the cream, just to display it somewhere. You get 250 ml of the cream in the pot, and it retails for 9,99€ (here).
As far as the actual Hand & Body Cream goes, it has a very interesting texture - it almost feels like a bouncy mousse/pudding. Quite different from the other body lotions that I've tried so far - in a good way. It also looks extremely thick in the pot, but it comes off much more lightweight. It's very easy to apply, sinks into the skin quickly and leaves it very moisturised and soft for long periods of time. The scent is another thing that lingers on my skin for a long time, which I really like, but I do think that I liked using it more in the colder months due to its warm and almost calming scent, that I do now in the Spring.
It definitely rounds up your pampering session perfectly, after which you won't only be left with a smooth, soft and nourished skin, but also with an alluring & warming scent that definitely won't be unnoticeable.

Lastly, a product that can also be a part of your pampering evening or just an essential on your night stand - the Milk & Honey Gold Moisturising Hand Cream*.
It again, comes in a great-looking squeeze tube with the same scent as the rest of the products. You get 75 ml of product, and it's currently marked down to 2,79€ (from 4,49€ here).
The consistency of the hand cream is very thick and rich, although it's very easy to spread. For me, this is definitely a cream that I would use before bed, and something I would carry in my handbag, cause it does take awhile to sink in and also leaves a bit of a slippery residue. As I said, I keep it on my night stand, use it before I fall asleep and I always wake up with soft and moisturised hands, nails and cuticles.
What more could you ask for?

Here are also some swatches, so you'll be able to see the consistency of the products:

The two on the fare left are the Milk & Honey Gold Moisturising Shower Cream* & Softening Creamy Soap Bar* (I'm hoping you can see the name embossing).
Next from top to bottom - first two are Moisturising Hand Cream*, the middle two Nourishing Hand & Body Cream* and the bottom two Smoothing Sugar Scrub*.

All in all I have to say that the Oriflame Milk & Honey Gold range* has been and continues to be a big hit for me and an essential part of my relaxing pampering routine. Due to their luxurious-looking packaging, inviting scent and actual end results, they are the perfect products to pamper yourself with. You can see the full list of products from the Milk & Honey range here, they also have everything from shampoo, conditioner to face moisturisers.
A big thanks goes to the Oriflame team for including this range into their gift bags at the Beautiful Bloggers Meet Up

*The products marked with * was given to me. I didn't buy them with my money. But that didn't and won't ever affect my opinion about the products in any way. The review is based on my personal experience with the product.*

    1. Oh yes, TBS body butters are also amazing. I have some mini ones in my stash as well, although they're sadly not available in my country :/

  5. I also used the Milk & Honey range products and i am very very satisfied. I didn't expect so good results and mixtures from it but was pleasantly suprised. Thank you for the good review you made Sanja! Well done! greetings, Petra
