Empties #15

Hello ladies,
after more than three months it's time to go through my beauty trash again.
Hopefully you have a cup of tea and some snack ready, cause it's going to be a long one.

This time I used up quite a lot of products, especially hair, body and skincare products which I'm quite proud of since I tend to have a bit of a problem when it comes to hoarding these things. I also had a clear-out and decided to part ways with a few make-up products that aren't completely empty, but are way pass they expiration date.

1. Batiste Blush dry shampoo: You know the deal with Batiste by now, it's my favourite dry shampoo and I have no complaints about it.
Would I repurchase? Already have a back-up in my stash.

2. Schwarzkopf Schauma Cotton Fresh dry shampoo: Is my second favourite dry shampoo that is actually available in Slovenia (you now can get Batiste in Müller as well, but only the ''coloured'' versions). Not only it's a good and effective dry shampoo, but it also has a lovely scent that I can't really get bored of.
Would I repurchase? I have a back-up of it as well (I did tell you that I'm a hoarder).

3. Vital Plus S+L Cleansing Treatment: Is a product I bought a long time ago on a recommendation from a friend that has a very sensitive scalp as well. I actually can't believe I haven't include it in my favourites because I love this. You're supposed to use it every 2 to 3 days, but I only used it when my scalp was extremely itchy & full of dandruff and this helped to get rid of that with one use. It has a very strong herbal scent, but I got used to it and it will leave your hair extremely stripped down and dry, so if you have naturally dry hair, you probably won't like it. You're also supposed to avoid using conditioner with it, but I always used it, I just made sure I only applied it on the ends of my hair. Oh, I bought it in a pharmacy.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

4. L'Oreal Professionnel Shine Blonde brightening repair shampoo: Another product that I had for a really long time. In the beginning I really liked this and I actually thought it made a change in my hair, but once I got a bit lighter & blonder, I noticed that it doesn't really do a great job at keeping the brassiness away.
Would I repurchase? Not really.

5. Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor deep conditioner: has become one of my all time favourite haircare products. Not only does it smell heavenly, but it also makes my hair crazily smooth, soft and nourished. It also does a great job at de-tangling the hair (my sister can vouch for that). I'm going to talk more about it in an Aussie themed review that is coming in a few weeks time.
Would I repurchase? Definitely!

6. L'Oreal Elnett De Luxe mini hairspray: is a product I keep repurchasing. I used to buy the mini's since I don't use it very often, but I just recently repurchased the big size of this extra strong one since I couldn't find the mini one.
Would I repurchase? Already did.

 7. Afrodita Cosmetics Cream Shower Gel Pistachio cream, Raspberry cream, Vanilla cream: I decided to include all three of them together (the last one is not in the photo as we used it up at the seaside) since they're all the same, except different scents. Although I love pretty much everything from Afrodita, I have to say that these are one of the best shower gels out there. They're super creamy, moisturising and also a bit exfoliating due to the particles they contain. They all smell heavenly (even the Pistachio one that I thought I wouldn't like), but my favourite is Vanilla cream.
Would I repurchase? Of course.

8. Afrodita Cosmetics Acai Berries with vitamin C oil shower gel: is probably my favourite shower gel of all times. I'm obsessed with the zesty scent and it feels very refreshing on the skin. Since it's an oil based shower gel, I also find it to be very moisturising.
Would I repurchase? Already did.

9. Balea Vanilla & Coconut shower cream: is also a nice shower gel, but I have to admit that I expected it to smell more coconut-y. But since I love vanilla as well, I did still like it.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

10. Balea Creme-öl Dusch Peeling Apfel & Zimtduft (Creme oil scrub apple & cinnamon): used to be my crack until I tried the Garnier one. Now I definitely know that I prefer that one, although this one still smells amazing, like an apple pie.
Would I repurchase? Probably not.

11. Balea Rasieröl (shaving oil): has been featured in my May Sparkles and it's a really good product. The only thing that I didn't like about it, was the fact that the pump stopped working before I used it up.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

 12. Avon Naturals Cranberry & Cinnamon body spray: was included in the products I want to use up post and I finally used it up. It does smell great, but that's about it. I didn't really know what to use it for since it doesn't last even for an hour, but I used it on days I wasn't leaving the house, just to refresh myself.
Would I repurchase? No.

13. CadeaVera Milder Reinigungsschaum (Mild cleansing foam): is a true drugstore gem. It can be found in Müller, it's very afforable and I absolutely loved it. It's a very gentle cleansing foam that does a good job at removing make-up and cleansing your skin without drying it out. It lasted me for a really long time, since I only needed one pump for my whole face. I used it on days when I wasn't wearing much make-up or as my second cleanser.
Would I repurchase? Most definitely, just need to use up a few other cleansers in my stash first.

14. Melvita Argan Oil: is another product that I absolutely loved. I talked about it in my May Sparkles as well and I'll definitely be repurchasing it. I'm currently using another product from Melvita, and although it's a good product, I have to say that I did prefer this Argan Oil.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

15. Balea Aqua Feuchtigkeits Serum (Aqua Moisture Serum): is a product I always go back to. It's a very lightweight serum that sinks into the skin almost immediately, but gives it a lot of moisture. I especially like using it in the Winter, when my skin gets a bit drier.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

 16. Biore Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips: are the best nose strips that I've tried so far. They actually get rid of a lot of blackheads and I only have two of them left. I purchased mine from Boots International if you're wondering.
Would I repurchase? Of course.

17. Balea Q10 Anti-falten Augen Pads (Anti-wrinkle eye pads): are a nice step in your pampering routine. They won't get rid of the tiny wrinkles around your eyes, but they do make the area look brighter and plumper. Unfortunately the results don't last for a long time, but I like to use them every now & again.
Would I repurchase? I still have four of them left.

18. Murad Essential-C Cleanser: was a product I got in the LookFantastic beauty box. I have to say that I really liked it; it smelled nice, cleansed well, had tiny beeds and made my skin look brighter.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

19. Garnier Pure SOS Pen: is one of the first beauty products I ever started using and I've been repurchasing it for years & years. It does a great job at getting rid of any blemishes even when they're only just developing.
Would I repurchase? Definitely, it's a product that is always in my stash.

20. Elemis Hydra-Nourish Night Cream: was a freebie in a magazine I bought in London and I'm so sad that I've used it up. I mentioned it in my January Sparkles and I took it away to the seaside with me, since my skin tends to get quite dry from all the sun and salt. This is one of the best night creams that I've ever tried: it's very nourishing, moisturising and it makes my skin look very plump and radiant. It's very expensive (59€ from FeelUnique), but I'm actually thinking of splurging on it in the future.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

21. My Hoin Ni Q10 & Royal Jelly Double Lifting Mask: is a miracle sheet mask. It got rid of my fine lines around my mouth and in between my brows completely! Unfortunately the effect only lasted for a day, but it's better than nothing. These sheet masks are also very moist and this one also covers your neck area & you have to tuck it behind your ears.
Would I repurchase? I'll be stocking up on it without a doubt!

22. Yves Rocher Vanille lip balm: was a very pleasant surprise. It's a very moisturising lip balm that actually helps with dry and  chapped lips. It's on the thicker side and has a lovely scent. I really enjoyed using it.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

23. Le Petit Olivier Lip Balm Stick with anti-ageing Argan oil: is my favourite lip balm. I already mentioned it a couple of times, but this is just a savior when it comes to having dry, chapped and cracked lips. It's quite expensive, so I tend to buy it when there's a discount.
Would I repurchase? Already have a back-up.

 24. Nivea Dry Comfort Plus antiperspirant: I'm not a fan of these spray deodorants/antiperspirants, but I got this one in a set so I used it up. I only used it when I wasn't doing much cause it wasn't very effective, but I also didn't like the scent or the fact that it left white marks on the clothing.
Would I repurchase? No.

25. The Body Shop Grapefruit body butter: was a gift with purchase and initially I really disliked the scent. But when I started using it this Summer, I actually liked it, cause it was very fresh and not so strong as in the pot. Otherwise it was a nice body butter, but it wasn't as thick as the other ones from them.
Would I repurchase? Hmm, probably not.

26. Victoria's Secret Coconut Passion fragrance mist: is another product that I had for a really long time. From what I've had the chance to sniff, this one is my favourite scent from the fragrance mist line and it's surprisingly long-lasting on me.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

 27. Essence Nail Art nail polish remover: is also always in my stash. It's my favourite nail polish remover for removing glitter, red nail polishes or any other ''hard'' to remove ones.
Would I repurchase? Already did.

28. Ebelin Acetonfrei Nagellack-entferner (acetone-free nail polish remover): is my standard nail polish remover. It's cheap, it acetone free, it does its job and smells nice.
Would I repurchase? Already did.

29. Colgate Max White One Optic & Luminous toothpaste: Both of them claim to help whiten your teeth and the ''original'' Max White One actually does that, but these two weren't so effective, especially with the Luminous one I didn't notice any changes.
Would I repurchase? Maybe the Optic one, definitely not the Luminous one.

30. Aldo Vandini Comfort Smoothing hand cream: was a lovely hand cream that ticks all the boxes for me. Since it's so small, it's also great for carrying in your handbag.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

 31. Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 15: My favourite medium to high coverage drugstore concealer. This actually covers my dark circles, doesn't get into my fine lines, lasts all day and doesn't look cakey. It also works great on blemishes.
Would I repurchase? Already did.

32. Urban Decay Eden eyeshadow primer potion: I used up another sample of these, and this time the Eden version. It's a good one, but I still prefer the original one.
Would I repurchase? Not really.

33. Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara: So far this is my favourite drugstore mascara. I actually prefer it to the Rocket which says a lot. It's gives your lashes volume, length, definition, thickness, it's very black and doesn't smudge. It also has a plastic wand which are my favourite.
Would I repurchase? Most definitely.

34. Catrice Prime and Fine waterproof mattifying powder: Although I wouldn't agree that this is waterproof, it still is my favourite compact setting/mattifiying powder (with the Rimmel Stay Matte). It keeps my skin matte, doesn't add any colour and doesn't look cakey or too powdery on the skin.
Would I repurchase? Already did.

35. Essence All about matt! fixing loose powder: is a hard-core mattifying powder that can easily be even too drying for my combination/oily skin. But I've been using it quite a lot recently, but in a bit of a different way. I like to apply way too much of it under my eyes, on my nose and forehead after I've applied my foundation and concealer, and I let it sit there while I'm doing the rest of my make-up. After I'm done I just dust the powder off and I'm left with a lovely matte & flawless finish that is very long-lasting and also prevents some mascaras from smudging.
Would I repurchase? I think it's discontinued, but I do have one left in my stash.

36. Orofluido mascara: I was planning on doing a review on this one, but I didn't really like it, so I decided to skip on it. It has a lovely packaging that also has a mirror on one side and lights up when you open it. I though I would like that, but it's actually quite distracting when you have blonde eyelashes and a blue-toned light is shining over them, it makes it even harder to notice them & coat every lash with mascara. It also has an extremely strong scent that actually bothered my eyes and made them very itchy (I could only wear this mascara for max 3-4 hours), and it smudged on me. It also dried up really quickly.
Would I repurchase? Definitely not.

And now onto the things that I'm throwing away.
37. Alverde Fixierendes spray (fixing spray): This didn't do anything for locking in the make-up or making it more long-lasting. It also has a very weird and alcohol-y scent. I don't really know why I had it for so long.
Would I repurchase? Never.

38. Garnier BB Cream for combination to oily skin in Medium: Was my go-to product in Summer, but I had it for a few years now and I think it's time to throw it away. This year I also mainly only used a concealer under my eyes when I had a tan, so there's no point in clinging onto it. But otherwise it's a nice BB cream that I'll probably repurchase in the future since it matches my tanned skin perfectly.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

39. Olaz/Olay Skin Perfectin Cleanser: Came in the package with their brush (which I'm planning on reviewing), but I learned that this was breaking me out and drying out my skin. I had some bad experience with Olay skincare in the past, so it looks like I just need to stay away from it in the future as well.
Would I repurchase? No.

40. Ebelin nail file: is the worst nail file I've ever used. I only bought it because of the polka-dots design, thinking that it'll do its job, but I've only used it three times and it's completely destroyed.
Would I repurchase? Hell no!

41. Catrice Camouflage cream in Ivory: was a concealer I used to love, but I since found better ones that also have a great coverage, but aren't so thick or heavy. I wanted to use it up, but I just don't reach for it and it's starting to look a bit disgusting.
Would I repurchase? Maybe, but probably not.

42. E. L. F. Eyebrow Kit: is another product that I used to love, but I never use powder for my brows any more. I also wanted to use it up, but I also don't reach for it, and if I want to use powder on my brows, I still have MAC Omega, which matches them really well.
Would I repurchase? Not really.

43. HEMA Satin blush powder in 05: It rarely happens that I dislike a blush, but I absolutely hate this one. It's so powdery, hard on the touch and had zero pigmentation. It just doesn't show on my skin no matter how much I try to build it up.
Would I repurchase? You have to be kidding, never!

44. The Vintage Cosmetic Company Nancy lashes: I bought this long time ago from FeelUnique, thinking I would get into wearing false lashes, but I'm absolutely the worst at applying them. I tried to play around with them several times, but I never got them to look really good, so now they're just too used up. Maybe it was also the adhesive fault, since it didn't really do its job.
Would I repurchase? I really don't know.

Hopefully you made it until the end. Let me know if you've tried any of these products.

    1. Te maske so res vredne nakupa, tudi Schauma suh šampon :)
Originalni mi je pa boljši zato, ker ima lažjo teksturo kot Eden, pa tudi odtenek mi je boljši, ker mi je Eden malo preveč rumenkast.
