Chit-Chat: Where have I been?

Friday, September 25, 2015

Hello ladies,
I've been planning on posting this chit-chat post on Sunday, but since I've messed up photos for today's post, I decided to switch the two. So here I am, with a random post, chatting about all the things that I've been up to in my month long blogging absence.
If you follow me on social media, you probably already know the majority of this, but I love chatting, so I decided to write a separate post anyway.

The main reason for my absence that was only supposed to be a week or so long, was going to the seaside. This year we made a last minute decision to go and we visited a small town Klimno on Croatian island Krk. Truth be told, it wasn't my favourite place I've visited so far, but it wasn't bad either.
I was planning on doing a post like this once I came back, but I decided not to since I didn't start posting until previous week and it's been more than a month since we got back and I feel it's out of place.
I also had my ''three'' month post Lasik eye surgery check up the day we were going back home, and everything couldn't be better. Now I only have one more, after a year or so.

The reason why I didn't return to regular posting once I got back from the seaside was because of my thesis/diploma. I had a year off from Uni and this was my only responsibility left, but of course I had to finish it the last minute.
I always do this and then I turn into this raging, stressed out person that even I absolutely hate. I was literally locked in my room 24/7, and the only place I went to was work. I didn't see any of my friends or my extended family for more than two weeks. It was a pain and the worst part was that it was all due to my laziness and procrastination.
But everything paid off once I actually graduated and got my bachelor's degree. I can't express just how happy, relived and proud I felt in that moment. Now I officially have a bachelor's degree in policy analysis and public administration, and I'm a bachelor of political science. Wuhu!
Since then I have been celebrating (getting a cake was probably one of the main reasons why I graduated, jk) and taking some time to relax. That's why I'm still not back to my usual schedule, cause all I want to do is chill, and frankly I kinda lost my blogging mojo, not doing it for so long.
I've also been going through some weird times in my life, finally deciding (well hopefully) to chase after something that I wanted since forever, feeling scared if this truly is the right path to take and dealing with some blasts from the past. But more on that some other time.

I also had a pleasure to attend the Aussie event on the 10th of September. I feel truly grateful to be a part of such an amazing brand, and you can definitely expect a review on some of their hair-care products very soon. I'm also planning on including more photos from the event there, so stay tuned for that.
Apart from the greatly planned event itself (just look how perfectly styled everything was, from purple cake-pops and cupcakes to purple drinks), one of the best part about it was the fact that they invited A LOT of Slovenian bloggers, which was beyond amazing as I finally had the chance to meet the girls in person. Including Tatjana that I was probably most excited to meet, since she's one of my favourite Slovenian bloggers. *fangirl moment*
Next week we're also having a blogging conference and I'm already beyond excited to spend even more time with everyone and meet even more Slovenian bloggers.

So what now? I'm hopefully going to get back to regular posting, although I'm not promising to stick to my usual schedule for now. I'm really behind on reviewing products that have been sent to me (and I apologise to the companies that have been so kind to sent me their products), so that'll currently be my main priority. Hopefully you won't mind seeing a few more posts about the product that I didn't buy myself. But I'm still learning how to juggle everything, and I'm also not sure what's going to happen in the near future regarding my master's studies, so please bare with me, and I just might have a few surprises in my sleeve for November ;).

How have you been recently?

  3. First of all, congrats on getting your diploma! :D
I understand losing the blogging mojo a bit, when you're really busy and don't blog a lot, it's hard to get started again.
Looking forward to your next posts! ;) `

  5. 2 tedna zaprta v stanovanje se ne sliši tako slabo, ampak zaradi pisanje diplomske... Vsaka čast. Trud se je poplačal in upam, da se še bo naprej pri iskanju službe (: Čestitke!
