October Sparkles

Hello ladies,
can you believe it's already November? I surely can't.
But this also means one thing; It's time to talk about the products that stood out the most in the month of October.

This time I have quite a good mix of new and re-discovered products, a lot of them also came with me to London, so let me tell you all the reasons I loved using them so much.

I bought the Refan 173 (replica of the Dior Hypnotic Poison) last December and I've used it every now and again. But in October I've been wearing it like a crazy person and I'm running very low on it. I'm sure you all know how Hypnotic Poison smells like, so I won't even bother describing it, but I will say that I was pleasantly surprised that this lasts all day on me and it's so much cheaper than the original version. It's also one of those scents that a lot of people seem to like, because I always get a ton of compliments when I wear it.
Next is another re-discovery; the Bioderma Crealine H20 Micellar solution (review). I haven't been using it recently because I have so many other micellar waters and cleansers in my stash, but since my dad managed to get the cap off this small bottle so I could refill it, I decided to take it with me to London. I instantly remembered all the reason why everyone likes it so much; it gets all of the makeup off in a matter of seconds and it doesn't irritate my eyes at all. I do like to use another cleanser after, but that's just my preferred way of cleansing.
I'm slowly using up my stash of hand creams and it was time for another one to get its spot in my handbag. My friend got me a set of three Aldo Vandini hand creams for my birthday and I've been using the Pure hydrating Cotton&White magnolia hand balm one. The packaging reminds me of L'Occitane hand creams, it's very compact and quite small (30 ml) so it's great for carrying around in your handbag. It ticks off every demand I have about hand creams; it's moisturising, absorbs into the skin quickly, doesn't leave any greasy residue on your hands and isn't too thick. It's also has a lovely floral, perfume-like scent.

I've been switching my lip products up quite a lot recently, but these three were my favourites. First we have the only lip balm I took with me to London; Labello Repair & Beauty. I won't talk much about it now, because Slovenian bloggers got a package with some Labello products and I'm planning on making a separate post about them, but I will say that I'm really loving this one. I like the fresh scent and I like the fact that it keeps my lips moisturised, prevents cracking but it also gives a slight pink tint to them.
I did a whole review on the P2 Pure Color lipstick (012 Kärtnerstrasse) and I can't stop wearing it. It's seriously one of the most beautiful 90's looking shades that I own and the formula is beyond amazing.
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 005 Crush was another gift from a friend and it's definitely going to be featured in my Autumn Picks. It's a gorgeous deep berry/burgundy shade that makes your teeth look a lot whiter. It's the perfect shade for colder months and since you can build it up or sheer it down as much as you want, it's great for every day wear. It is very creamy though, so I like to line the corners of my lips with a lip liner or go around with a concealer, just to prevent any  possible bleeding and get more even application.
This shade is also a great way to spice everything up a bit since I've been wearing minimal makeup recently.

I haven't wore the Bourjois CC cream (review) in months and it blew my socks off once more. I took it with me to London and when a girl at the NARS counter was matching me to their Radiant Creamy Concealer she couldn't believe I was wearing this. She told me that my face looks airbrushed and that she could bet I had a high end foundation on. This truly looks amazing on the skin yet extremely natural. It's definitely my favourite ''foundation'' that I've tried so far.
The next two product were my staples in London as well. First we have a sample of Bioderma Sebium AKN Smoothing purifying care. It says that it smoothes and refines the skin texture and it does just that. It mattifies your face but keeps it moisturised at the same time. It's an amazing base for your makeup, because it makes your skin feel so smooth and soft that the makeup glides on like butter. It also manages to hide my pores just a tiny bit, but just enough for it to make a difference. This is actually empty now, but I will probably buy the full size when Spring rolls around.
Last from this bunch is my favourite setting powder ever; Catrice Prime and fine mattifying powder. Yes, I decided that I like it more than the Rimmel Stay Matte.
I know I already talked about it here, but I had to mention it once more. It takes the shine away, keeps your face matte all day long without looking cakey or powdery. It's really finely milled and comes in a compact packaging with a mirror. This kept my makeup looking intact and shine free when I was running around London and using the tube so you know it really is good. And I've just hit pan on it today, which makes it even better.

Last but not least, two products that my eyes have been loving. First is an oldie but a goodie, Urban Decay Naked palette. It baffles me that I haven't hit pan on some of these eyeshadows yet  as I've been using them for years. I admit that I've been neglecting it a lot due to all the other palettes, but every time I use it, it reminds me that it's one of my favourite eyeshadows palettes ever. I did a few makeup looks with it recently that I absolutely loved and I'm planning on sharing some of them with you soon.
The L'oreal Miss Manga Mega Volume mascara was featured in my May Sparkles and I've actually repurchased it since then because my mom stole that one. It gives my lashes a lot of volume and length, I can really build it up without getting spidery lashes and it also doesn't smudge or flake on me.

What was your favourite product in October?

Jaz bi kar imela parfum s tem vonjem:). Catrice Prime and Fine sem imela loose verzijo in je bil res super. Mogoče moram zdaj kupiti to novo, je zagovo bolj priročna.:)

    2. Mam večje pore in jih še dodatno izpostavi.
