June Sparkles

Hello ladies,
as I mentioned in my yesterday's post, I have a new schedule for July and because of that I'm back with another post today.

You already know the drill, it's time for another monthly favourites.
In June, I discovered a few new products and I've also fallen back in love with some old favourites that I completely forgot about.
Let's start with the non-makeup products.

My mom bought this Cien Cocoa Body Butter from Lidl because her co-worker said that it's really good and she was right. This stuff is amazing! It's really intensive and it's one of those heavy moisturisers that take a long time to absorb into your skin, but this will be your best friend if you have dry skin. Currently, this is too heavy to be my daily moisturiser, as my skin is not so dry in the Summer, but I absolutely love using it after I exfoliate or shave because I wake up with the softest, baby-like skin the next morning. On top of that, it's also very cheap.
I also went to get my roots done in June and long story short, it didn't turned out the way that I wanted. This is definitely not a favourite.
I got the L'oreal Professionnel Shine Blonde brightening repair shampoo awhile back when it was on offer on FeelUnique, and I've been using it to get rid of that yellow brassiness. It really has been helping, even though my hair still doesn't look the way that I would want it to.
Next we have another cheap yet very effective product; Ombia Cosmetics nail polish remover without acetone from Hofer.
I picked this up because I was very curious to see if it would actually be any good and I was pleasantly surprised. It removes all nail polishes (I haven't tested it yet with glitter polishes) effortlessly and it also smells nice. A true bargain!

I go through some weird phases when occasionally I'll only use my fingers to apply foundations, then I'll only use sponges, and in June I only used the Real Techniques Buffing brush. I love how quick the application was and I also loved the finish that it gave me. I think it made the Bourjois CC Cream look even more natural and perfect.
As the weather got warmer, I also fell back in love with bronzing up my face instead of only contouring it, so the E. L. F. Contouring blush & Bronzing powder  in St. Lucia was my best friend.
The blush that I loved using with the E.L.F bronzer was the Physicians Formula Multi-colored blush in Blushing Peach. This is a shade I wouldn't normally go for, but when you mixed all the colours together you get a nice peachy shade that looks a little bit more pink with my naturally flushed cheeks. It also contains tiny, tiny shimmers that just give your face a little bit of that healthy glow.

I also have two favourites for my eyes. One is the older and almost forgotten Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeshadow paint in Rich Russet which was a life saver in the early mornings. One swipe of this, a MAC 217 (or any other blending brush), blend, blend, blend and you're good to go. I also noticed that this shade it's almost identical to the Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On bronze.
The next one is the new addition to my makeup collection and it's the Manhattan Eyemazing effect eyeshadow in Brownie Break.
This is the perfect little palette for travelling or carrying in your makeup bag. It has four beautiful neutral shades that are really pigmented, easy to blend and long-lasting (with a primer, of course). The packaging is also very sturdy, which is another thing that I like.

In my What's in my makeup bag I told you that I'm challenging myself to wear a different lipstick every day and I can proudly say that so far so good. The two that I loved the most in June were the L'oreal Color Richie L'Extraordinaire liquid lipstick in the shade Nude Vibrato and the Manhattan Soft mat lipcream in 56K.
I definitely need to order some other shades of the L'oreal one, as it's amazing and whenever I wear it, I always get a lot of compliments. I also need to start wearing the Manhattan one more often because it feels amazing on the lips and it's also very long-lasting. The shade is pretty as well.

Swatches (L to R): E. L. F. bronzer, Physician Formula blush, Manhattan eyeshadow palette (all 4 shades), Rimmel eyeshadow paint, L'oreal liquid lipstick, Manhattan soft mat lip cream.

What was your favourite beauty product in June?

    1. Ej meni jih ne. Je pa res, da meni malo katera šminka izsuši ustnice.
Je pa formula bolj suha kot pa pri recimo tistih od Bourjois, ja.
