Photo Diary: Road-trip to Ikea and Seiersberg Graz

Sunday, May 04, 2014

Hello ladies,
today I have a little photo diary for all of you with an extra life update at the end.
As you might know, this week we had Spring break holidays and me & my friend decided to drive to Graz (Austria) to visit Ikea and Seiersberg shopping centre.
I actually took more photos, but my phone has been acting up recently and decided to delete a few of them while I was transferring them to my computer.

The photo on top could be captured as ''I woke up like this''. I just couldn't do a photo diary without a sneaky photo of Daisy and judging by her expression she was having a yummy dream.
Speaking of yummy things, my breakfast that morning was especially delicious as we still had some muffins left from my sister's birthday.
After breakfast I threw on some makeup and was off to pick up my friend. I kept my makeup pretty basic, I wore the Bourjois CC Cream with Catrice Camouflage concealer and set everything with the Rimmel Stay matte powder. I did my brows with the standard Artdeco eyebrow pencil in 6 and the Alverde tinted eyebrow gel in Blonde. I only wore mascara on my eyes and I'm currently trying the L'oreal Miss Manga. My blusher of choice for that day was the Deborah Rosa Pesca that was featured in my Top Spring Blushes. Last but not least was the Revlon lip butter in Berry smoothie.

Our first stop was obviously Ikea and we commented on almost every piece of furniture. Luckily our taste is quite similar so we didn't get into any arguments on how gorgeous/ridiculous some things look.
I found my dream bath, this perfectly decorated bed and a closet with heavenly storage. I forgot to snap a photo of the last one, but I can tell you that it had some perfect storage for shoes, clothes and jewellery and it also had some serious bad-ass storage solutions for my (non-existent) businessman husband.
On the top right photo you can see a sneak peak into the things we got, almost everything is actually mine.
After we were done decorating our dream houses, we went to Seiersberg that is a huge shopping centre not far from Ikea. I don't have any photos from there because my phone deleted them.
I was beyond excited because I knew that there was also the Body shop there. I already had a list of things that I wanted to buy and this was also the main reason I wanted to go there.
We looked up the map and went straight to the Body shop and what did we see when we got there? A store packed in boxes.
You know how you felt when you found out that there was no Santa? Well, that's how I felt when I saw that. I had such high hopes to finally get my hands on their Camomile cleansing butter & oil, and everything crashed down.
After that we strolled around some other shops and bought some thing, but truth be told, this shopping centre isn't anything special. We also saw a Frozen yoghurt stand, but guess what? That was closed too.
We concluded our long day of excitement and disappointment in a town near ours, called Slovenska Bistrica where they have one of the best ice-creams.

I'll be doing a haul with some of the things I got in Ikea & Seiersberg on Tuesday, so stay tuned for that.

A random life-update:
I don't know if you noticed, but I wasn't posting very regularly in April and this will probably be the case for the next two months as well.
I have a lot of things going on at Uni right now as I'm in my final year and I'll also have my traineeships in June. Speaking of that, I'm having a meeting in the National Assembly tomorrow, so keep your fingers crossed it goes smoothly.
I have so many great things (at least in my opinion) planned for the future, but I just need to sort out other things before I can do any of them.

Hope you had a nice week and let's make the next one even better.

Sanja♥
