Empties 8

Tuesday, May 27, 2014

Hello ladies and yes, it's time for another empties post.
I won't even bore you with all the details about how long this one will be, or how you need to grab yourself a drink, because we all already know this and you said that you like it this way.

I'll try to keep everything as short as possible and I also tried to organise these empty products in some sort of categories.
So let's take a look into my empties box, starting with the shower and body-care products.

1. Ziaja  Coconut Creamy shower soap: I already mentioned a few times that I love hand creams from Ziaja and I also like their Orange scrub, but this was the first time I tried their shower gels. My Mom got the Coconut version and I really liked it. It smells very coconuty and a little bit milky, it's very nourishing and it actually leaves your skin moisturised.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

2. Balea LE Carambola Lambada shower gel: Balea always comes out with some amazing scents for their LE, it's a shame they don't make a few of them permanent. This is a very fresh & fruity scent and I like that it lingers on the skin. Perfect for the summer. It's not my favourite from this LE, but I still liked it a lot.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

3. Balea LE Creme-öl  Apple& cinnamon peeling: This was featured in my February favourites and this is already my second tube of it. All the girls in our house love this and this is again something that I wish would be permanent.
Would I repurchase? Already have.

4. Neutrogena Ultra nourishing intensive balm: I think that the name itself perfectly describes this product, it's exactly like it claims; extremely moisturising balm. Even though it is so intensive, it's not very thick and it absorbs into the skin quite fast. I also already mentioned that I'm a big fan of Neutrogena body moisturisers, especially those that come in a pot.
Would I repurchase? Yes, in the colder months.

5. Yves Rocher Expert Repair repair lotion for extra dry skin: This on the other hand is extremely thick and doesn't absorbs as fast as the Neutrogena one, but it's amazing for extremely dry and itchy skin. I also loved using this after I used a scrub, as the next day I woke up with baby smooth skin. I talked about it here.
Would I repurchase? Yes but again, in the colder months.

6. Essie Nourish me base coat: This was a life saver for my splitting nails. It completely stopped that and it also helped with the faster growth. I don't know if this is still available or not, as I occasionally see it in some DM's but not in others.
Would I repurchase? Yes, if it's still available.

7. Labello Classic care: Not much to say about this one; just a classic lip balm that really hydrates your lips. You just can't go wrong with it.
Would I repurchase? Always.

Now onto some haircare and skincare products.
8. Batiste Dry shampoo Original: Another product I can't live without. From the ones that I tried so far, this is my favourite one, as the scent is very fresh and I didn't get bored of it. It's also a lot less powdery than the Blush version I'm currently using.
Would I repurchase? Without a doubt.

9. Schauma Cotton Fresh dry shampoo: I always have a back up of this one in Ljubljana and at home if I run out of the Batiste one and I haven't made an Asos order yet. This is the only dry shampoo from our drugstores that actually does something for my hair yet doesn't irritates my scalp. The only annoying thing about it is that it runs out extremely quickly.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

10. Yves Rocher Nutrition Nutri-silky conditioner: I won't talk about this one much as I really didn't get along with it, and it was a major let down. If you're interested in knowing more about it, click here.
Would I repurchase? No!

11. Yves Rocher Pure Camomile Cleansing gel: This is the bomb.com and I also got my Mom hooked on it.  It removes all of your makeup without being harsh or irritating your eyes. I featured it in the same post as the YR body lotion, if you're interested in reading more about it.
Would I repurchase? Most definitely, I already wanted to stock up on it actually, but it was sold out at that time. Now I need to make time to go to the Yves Rocher store again and buy it since I miss using it.

12. L'oreal Paris Hydra Active 3 Micellar water: I definitely don't miss using this. If you saw my Battle of micellar waters you already know that I didn't like this one because it irritates my eyes, makes them dry and doesn't remove makeup efficiently.
Would I repurchase? Nope.

13. Himalaya Herbals Gentle exfoliating Daily face wash: I talked about this product so much already but I wanted to include it once more, as this really is an amazing face scrub. As it says, it's very gentle so it can be used daily, for removing your face makeup or just as second cleanser. I currently want to try out some new scrubs, but I'll definitely be back to this one.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

14. Nivea Gentle eye make-up remover: Before I knew about micellar waters and cleansing balms, this was the only eye makeup remover I could use since all of rest made my eyes red and itchy. I found a bottle of it when I was rearranging my makeup and of course, had to use it up. If I compare it to other makeup removers now, I don't think it's very effective, but it still gets the job done. Just not as fast.
Would I repurchase? Not really, because I found better products.

15. Alverde Clear Washcreme: Another great, budget-friendly cleanser. This helped a lot when my sister had some breakouts, so I definitely think it also helps to prevent them. I use this one on days when I'm not wearing a lot of makeup or to double cleanse. It's definitely worth checking out.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

16. Alverde LE Vintage Rose Reinigungs-puder: This is actually not empty and was just included in my disappointing products and since it's not available any more, I won't bore you again with it.
Would I repurchase? Hell no.

If you're a regular reader of my blog or if you follow me on Twitter (shameless promotion), you'll know that I had some sort of eye infection in April. Because of that I decided to throw away all the mascaras that I've been using at that time, plus some other things.
17. L'oreal False Lash Wings butterfly effect fibers mascara: This was my second tube of this mascara and I really like it. I blogged about it here and here.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

18. Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping mascara: I got this for reviewing purposes and if you remember I said in that review that I do really like it, but I don't find it to be volumising. Then I also included it in my Best makeup buys of 2013 because it kept getting better and better with every use and it also started to give my lashes lots of volume and was my favourite every day mascara.
Would I repurchase? Absolutely.

19. Maybelline The Rocket Volum' express mascara: Do I dare to say that this is my all-time favourite mascara? I think so. It gives my lashes a lot of length, some volume, it separates them perfectly, holds the curl and doesn't budge. I think I'm already on my third or fourth tube and this has NEVER happened before.
Would I repurchase? I already have, as I couldn't stop thinking about it and was always wanting to use it, even though I have other mascaras.

20. Makeup Revolution Amazing Curl mascara: From the best to the worst. This was also included in Saturday's disappointing products so I'll skip talking about it again.
Would I repurchase? Never.

21. Holika Holika Baby Silky Foot mask sheet: I got this from Ebay for around 2€ and I thought that it's going to be one of those feet masks that remove dead skin like this one from Destionation Pretty.  It was actually a moisturising mask, but I didn't really like it as the moisture only lasted for a day and I get better results with regular foot creams.
Would I repurchase? No.

22. E.L.F. Professional fan brush: I'm throwing this away because it sheds like crazy and it also bad in general. It doesn't grab on product nicely and it applied highlighters very patchy and uneven. Luckily it's very cheap, so I don't fell bad throwing it away.
Would I repurchase? No.

There you have it, my current ''beauty'' trash. As always, I hope you enjoyed reading this.
Have you tried any of these products? Did you liked them?
