I finally have the last part of my top picks for Autumn series for you. If you haven't seen part one or part two, you can click here and here.
If you would ask my Dad about nail polishes, he would say that I have an obsession with them. I don't necessarily agree, but I do admit that I own quite a few too many. And if you own a lot of nail polishes, you would know how hard it is to choose just a few. But I finally managed to chose my top 10 nail polishes that are in my opinion perfect for Autumn/Winter.
Essie Bahama Mama: This one is actually my year-round favourite, because it's so gorgeous and Essie nail polishes last the longest on my nails. But I do think that this dark burgundy-purple shade is perfect for Autumn.
Revlon Vixen: I bought this one because a lot of people seem to love it, and I can definitely see why. You can't really go wrong with a dark and vampy shade, can you?
L'oreal Resist & Shine in 705: This one is the oldest from this ''collection''. It's a very dark purple shade with glitters and a red undertone, that looks almost black, but it revels it's true colours when the sun hits it. Those tiny glitters make your nails look like an entire galaxy is stuck on them.
Make Up Factory nail color in 370: Again, a really dark shade, a true dark purple shade. The Make Up Factory nail polishes have an amazing formula and they're also really long lasting.
Zoya Tao: Greyish, glittery shade. At first I wasn't sure if I would wear this one, but when I did, I fell in love with it. I really like wearing this one when it's cold outside, because it has such a cool undertone.
Swatches in the same order as mentioned:
Essie, Revlon, L'oreal, Make Up Factory, Zoya
Borjouis Beige Glamour: The perfect darker nude shade. I think that shades like this are really elegant and very versatile. I tend to gravitate towards them when I don't know which shade to wear.
Avon Dusty Pink: I think that this shade has the perfect name, it really is a dusty pink shade, which again looks great with everything. This nail polish actually really surprised me. Since it's from Avon's Color trend collection, it was very cheap, but it's opaque with one coat (or two thin coats, if you prefer this) and it lasts three to four days.
Make Up Factory nail color in 410: This one has received the most love out of all. It's again a nude shade, but it's more on the brown and cool side. At some point I wore it for a month straight, which is a record for me, because I never re-paint my nails with the same colour.
Catrice Iron Mermaiden: The most funky shade. I don't know how to describe it, but it has this purple-green-metallic shine to it.
O.P.I. Meet me on the Star Ferry: The one with the cutest name and the second most used one. I would describe this shade as brown with red undertone and again, with tons and tons of glitter in it. If you apply one coat, it looks less dark, but if you want, you can make it look very dark.
Bourjois, Avon, Make Up Factory, Catrice, O.P.I.
So here you have it, my top picks for Autumn. Hope you enjoyed reading this.
Also I'm sorry for the swatches, I really need to order some nail wheels.
