It's time for another first impression. And this one is kinda special, since it was the prize of the first giveaway that I won.
When I saw this giveaway on Maja's Pink mascara blog I was so excited because this face mask has been on my wishlist for awhile now. I was even more excited when she notified me that I was the winner.
Of course I had to try it the day that it arrived in the mail, but I had already planned a few posts before this, but today it's all about the Mint Julep Masque.
The first thing that I noticed it that the tube is huge. It's so much bigger than the rest of face mask I own. You get 226,8g or 8oz.
It's also so much thicker than what I'm normally used to. I really didn't expect for it to be as thick as it is.
The smell of this mask is amazing. I'm completely in love with it. It smells so fresh and minty, it kind of reminds me of the toothpaste smell, which I also love.
I also love that it's mint green and it looks so much fun when you applied it. Even my friend was surprised that it was such a nice colour because most face mask don't really look that appealing.
When I first applied it, I had this ''burning'' feeling on my cheeks and I was afraid that it's going to break me out, since my skin is very sensitive. But this ''burning'' feeling went away in a few minutes and the mask felt very cooling and fresh on my skin.
It's very smooth when it dries and I could see some blackheads on my nose coming out, which is disgusting but at the same time, it means that it's working.
It says that you need to remove it with warm water and a wash cloth, which I did and it was really easy to remove it.
My pores were instantly less visible and I could see that a lot of blackheads were removed. My skin also felt so tight and polish, in a good way, it was like I had a facial in a spa. It also made my skin so smooth and soft that I couldn't stop touching it.
Even though I only used this once, I can already tell you that I'm going to be repurchasing it when I ran out.
Thank you Maja for an amazing giveaway and if you don't follow her blog already, definitely go and visit her.
Hope you enjoyed reading this, I'm off to start watching the season 2 of Scandal. I just finished the first season and I'm hooked.
Let me know if you tried this and what are your thoughts?
