Empties 4

Friday, August 23, 2013

I haven't done an empties post in more than 3 months, and this time I really used up a lot of  products. I even brought a few back home with me from my student apartment because I wanted to share them with you.
I apologize in advance because this is going to be a long one. You can go get yourself a cup of tea/water/ coffee and a few snacks if you want, or you can just scroll through and read about the products that you're interested in.

1. Himalaya Herbals Gentle exfoliating daily face wash: I talked about this quite a few times already. It's working like a dream for me and I currently can't imagine my skin care routine without it. You can read more about it here.
Would I repurchase? Already have, even before I ran out of it.

2. Green line Natural clear refreshing tonic: I really liked this product but I feel like it didn't do anything special for my skin, it just left it feeling more refreshed. I prefer the product I'm going to talk about next, since I can actually see some changes in my skin
Would I repurchase? No, because I found something better.

3. Afrodita Young&pure deep hydrating anti-imperfections refreshing toner: I was planning on buying the Himalaya toner but they didn't have it, so I just go this one and I love it. I've been using it for about three months now and I see a difference in my skin. I haven't had any major breakouts, and my cheeks really seem to be a lot more hydrated. I also love the smell.
Would I repurchase? Yes, I actually need to go to the drugstore tomorrow.

4. Avon Far away perfumed body spray: This is one of my favourite smells from Avon, I repurchased the roll on deodorant a few times already and I also had the perfume. I really like it, it stays on my clothes and it doesn't leave clothes all white. I know I'll eventually repurchase it.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

5. Montagne Jeunesse Sauna mask: This was really something different, since it was my first time using a face mask that actually felt warm. I won't say that it was a miracle worker, but it felt nice and it left my skin soft and smooth.
Would I repurchase? No.

6. Balea Extra power hair spray: Another already mentioned product. If you want to read about it, you can find it here, but let's just say that it's nothing extra about it.
Would I repurchase? Never.

7. Essence Nail polish remover Strawberry and passion fruit: A great, cheap nail polish remover that smells amazing and doesn't dry up your nails. It's also acetone free.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

8. Ziaja Coconut hand cream: The Ziaja hand creams are one of my favourite because they really moisturise my hands but they don't make them greasy as some hand creams do. They also smell amazing and the scent actually stays on your hands.
Would I repurchase? Yes, but I need to use up other hand creams.

9. Balea Camomile hand and nail cream: From a good hand cream to a bad one. This one, on the other hand, leaves your hands extremely greasy and it doesn't even moisturises them. Thank God that I only had the small version.
Would I repurchase? No.

10. Ebelin Coconut nail polish remover: I just had to include this one because it smell so, so, so amazing. It was perfect for the summer and I hope that they have the bigger version of it. But don't be fooled by the smell, it also works like a dream.
Would I repurchase? Yes, if there is a full size version.

11. Balea Wellness Fuß bade kristalle: Lovely bath for your feet. It smells great and it really makes them more soft and all that jazz.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

12. Barfuss Fußmaske: When I saw this I was like, of course I need to try a foot mask, haven't had that before. The fact that it said that it's limited edition just got my hopes even higher. Well, it was rubbish. It didn't do anything. I think I'll stick with foot creams from now on.
Would I repurchase? A-a.

13. Neutrogena Fast absorbing light balm: I love Neutrogena. I think that they make really great body lotions that really help with dry skin. This was not the exception. It was great, especially for the warmer months because it's very light, it absorbs into your skin fast and at the same time really hydrates your skin.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

14. Ziaja Orange butter Energizing shower scrub: Great scrub that is not harsh since it has micro-granules. It smells amazing and I think this would be great for everyone that likes to shower in the morning since the smell really wakes you up.  I also love that it's in the pot, so you can really get all of the products out.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

15. Balea Young Sweet wonderland shower gel: I raved about this product here and I'm still obsessed with it. As soon as we ran out of it, I get and buy another bottle. The smell is really out of this world, if you like sweets.
Would I repurchase? Always.

16. Palmolive Mediterranean moments shower gel: I talked about this one in the same post as above. Love it, smells gorgeous and I already repurchased the bigger size.
Would I repurchase? Already did.

17. Lush Daddy-o shampoo: This was the shampoo that the lady working at Lush recommended for me and my sister when we were talking about our scalps and hair. It didn't worked for my sister and it did nothing special for my hair as well. I found it to be a little drying.
Would I repurchase? No.

18. Lush American cream conditioner: She also recommended this conditioner and I absolutely love it. It's by far the best smelling conditioner I've ever had, and the smell stays on your hair forever. It's also very moisturising, it managed to de-tangle my sister's crazy hair and it just makes your hair so soft and gorgeous. I just wish it was a little bit cheaper, that's also the reason why I'm currently sticking with the Dove Nourishing oil care treatment that works great as well.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

19. S-he compact powder: This was my go-to powder for years. I really liked it but then I discovered the Rimmel Stay matte powder and my love for it has died.
Would I repurchase? No.

20. L'oreal Roll on True match foundation: Don't really know what to say about it, it was my favourite foundation before BB creams and I still have one left in my make up drawer, but I rarely use it because I just don't wear other foundation than my BB cream.
Would I repurchase? No.

21. Avon lipstick brush: I used this once and it fell apart. It didn't even work great because it was too soft.
Would I repurchase? No.

22. Maybelline Illegal length mascara: It was alright. Nothing special but it didn't clump my lashes or smudge.
Would I repurchase? No.

23. Maybelline The Falsies mascara: One of the worst mascaras I've ever tried. I talked about it in my disappointing products.
Would I repurchase? Hell no.

24. YSL Shocking mascara: Ah, my beloved Shocking mascara. I nearly cried when I finished this one. I loved it, it made my lashes so long and full. It was a real treat to use. It's a shame that it's so expensive.
Would I repurchase? I would, but I won't because of the price.

25. Manhattan Go 4 big lashes mascara: Another amazing mascara. It really lengthen my lashes and that's the thing I search in mascaras. It also doesn't smudge and it's very black.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

26. Depend Panthenol strengthener: I love this base coat. It really helped with making my nails become stronger. I'm currently trying the Essie one, but if I won't like it, I'm back on this one.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

27. L'oreal Glam shine lipgloss in Juicy rose glow: My all time favourite lip gloss, even though I'm not a lip gloss lover. I also repurchased this so many times, I can't even remember. It's not sticky, it's not too glossy. It's just great.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

28. Labello Milk and honey lipbalm: What can I say? Works great, helps with chapped lips, smell great.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

29. Labello SOS lip repair: If you have very dry and chapped lips, this is going to save your life. Well, actually your lips. This is a must have for me, especially in the winter. And this one doesn't look white on your lips like the Blistex lip relief cream. So I usually use this one when I'm in public and the Blistex when I'm at home.
Would I repurchase? Definitely.

So that is all. Congrats to everyone who made it through. Hope you enjoyed reading this, even if it was so long. Have a great weekend.

  3. I love these type of posts! It's a shame the Maybelline mascaras didn't work out though. It is amazing how different mascaras work so differently for each person. I've been wanting to try that ysl mascara too, but I agree with you on the price! The packaging is so gorgeous and luxurious though!

    1. Veš, da ne vem. Sama sem ga našla tam, kjer imajo ostale ''travel size'' izdelke. Si pogledala tam?
