Hair care routine

Friday, March 22, 2013

Hello ladies, I hope you're having a great week. I've been sick for the past four days but I'm feeling better and today I was enjoying some sun and fresh air. I just hope that it doesn't starts snowing again this weekend. I really can't stand snow anymore.
So today, I'll show you my current hair care routine. When it comes to my hair, I don't really know how to describe it; sometimes I get extremely oily routs, but my ends are normal/dry, I have very sensitive scalp and occasionally I get these dry flakes and dandruff.
I also colour my hair around every 4 months.
I used to have very curly and frizzy hair and I used hair strengthener every day, so it's strange that I don't have damaged hair and that my hair stayed thick and voluminous.
I wash my hair every 3-4 days, depends on what I'm doing and if I'm going somewhere. Currently, I like every product that I use, except I'm not too impressed with the shampoo and I haven't found one that I would really, really like.

L to R: Lee Stafford Straight conditioner,  Lavera Almond milk shampoo

This Lee Stafford conditioner is one of my favourites, I really like the smell and the fact that it leaves my hair smooth, soft and not frizzy. It also claims to have added heat protection, which is great, because I always forget to use one.
The shampoo that I'm currently using is this one from Lavera, I bought it because it says that it's for sensitive hair and delicate scalp. I can't say that I see any difference and I really don't like the consistency of it.

Orofluido hair oil

I want my hair to grow a little bit more and started using this hair oil that I bought quite some time ago. I use it before I blow dry my hair and I take a small amount and rub it into my ends and fringe. I absolutely love the smell of Orofluido products.

L to R: Orofluido hair mask, Lee Stafford Original dry shampoo for oily roots

Once or twice a month I'll also use the Orofluido hair mask, which again smell amazing and leaves your hair looking amazing.
If I'm feeling extremely lazy and my hair is looking terrible, I'll use dry shampoo. But I rearly use it because dry shampoos always make my scalp very itchy.

L to R: John Frieda Sheer Blonde colour renew shampoo and conditioner

I've read so many great reviews on these two products and I decided to give them a go. And I must say, I really like them. When my hair starts looking a little bit dull and yellow-ish, I'll use this, and I can delay my next hair colouring for a little bit longer.

Please let me know, if you have any suggestions for a good shampoo that would work with my sensitive scalp.

Also, if you haven't, you should enter my international giveaway, it ends tomorrow at midnight.
