It's time for another monthly favourites. I've been stuck in the same make up routine for some time now, and I've been using the same products again and again. But I'm determined to change that so that I can show you some new products and to share my opinion with you.
Neutrogena deep moisture body lotion, L'oocitane Pivoine Flora shower gel,
Zara Black amber perfume
The first products that I've been loving are body products. As I already mentioned, I'm on a mission to finish my moisturisers, and this is one of them. I've been really liking this one and I can't remember why I stop using it. I really liked the fact that it has a pump, but now I don't anymore, since there's quite a lot of product left, but the pump stopped working.
I've been having lots of pampering evenings in March and this L'oocitane shower gel has been a must have. I'm not really a fan of floral scents, but this one smells amazing when you apply it on your skin and leaves a nice smell afterwards.
Staying with nice smells, I recently bought the Black Amber perfume from Zara. I'm in love with it. It smells so, so good. The main notes are tangerine, tiare flower, passion fruit, vanilla and amber.
Balea Vaseline, Alverde clear eyebrow gel, MUA Cover & Conceal in Fair,
Manhattan Soft mat lip cream in 56k
I had this huge pimple between my brows and of course I had to pop it. Then all I was left with was this scar that didn't want to go away. One night I decided that I'm going to try and apply Vaseline on it, since it was very dry and did the same thing for two nights, and the scar was gone. I have to say, I'm impressed.
I've been also doing my brows a little bit more and even if I don't fill them in, I always set them with these clear gel from Alverde. It's great.
The biggest surprise this month was the MUA concealer, when I first got it, I immediately wanted to throw it away. It wasn't concealing anything, it creased and I also didn't like the consistency of it. I decided to give it another go this month but on top of my Bourjois concealer. I really like how they work together and the MUA one really helps with brightening my face. But I still wouldn't use it on its own.
I LOVE lip creams. I've been wearing this one from Manhattan all month long, and I purchased some more from Essence this week. Can't wait to try them out as well, I already have a feeling that they'll be featured in my next favourites.
MAC eyeshadow in Phloof, Nyx blush in Pinched
I've been also reaching for my MAC Phloof eyeshadow a lot. I've been wearing it in the corners of my eye or just all over the lid if I wasn't in the mood to apply any other shadows, but wanted my eyes to look less tired.
I don't know what to say about the blusher, except that it's amazing. On a daily basis, I seem to always grab it and I love how it looks on me.
Swatches: Manhattan lipcream, NYX blush, MAC eyeshadow,
I also have to share this tip with you Great-make-up-tips
I repined it on Pinterest and it saved my life recently. My YSL Shocking mascara was getting dry and I was so upset, because I absolutely love it and I treat it like it's my baby. I was preparing myself to throw it away but decided to try the tip and it worked! I couldn't be happier, and the mascara looks like I would just bought it.
Have a lovely day and happy Easter.
