Review: Green line

Tuesday, January 29, 2013

In December I ordered some things from www.click2chic.si, and in the package came three samples from Green line Natural clear - 4in1 cleansing cream+scrub+mask+antibacterial effect, matyfaing moisturizer and tinted moisturizer.
I'm currently using the Refreshing tonic from this line and since I really like it, I had an intention to try some more of their products. And it doesn't get better than to receive some free samples to try out.

Green line Natural clear -4in1; Cleansing cream+scrub+mask+antibacterial effect
What it claims to do; Thoroughly cleanses the pores and removes any excess oil. Contains natural clay, which has an in-depth cleansing action and effectively absorbs the excess oil from the pores. Lemongrass extract acts as an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent, soothes the skin and disinfects any small wounds that are caused by acne breakouts. The natural almond scrub gently removes any dead skin cells (from their website).
How to use it; As a weekly mask- apply 4 in 1 to damp skin, leave on for 5 minutes for it to take effect, add a small amount of water, massage and rinse off. (weekly)
You can also use it daily as a cleansing cream - apply 4 in 1 to damp skin, massage gently and rinse off.

Review; I used it once, as a mask, like it says on the description. You can see on the picture that it's white and has some black particulars. It has a nice, fresh but not too overpowering smell.
Afterwards my skin felt really soft, smooth and hydrated at the same time. I instantly noticed less visible pores and blacheads on my nose and chin. It also minimized the pores on my cheeks.
I didn't use the tonic or night cream because I wanted to see how my skin will look and feel in the morning.
Skin was still super soft and hydrated in the morning, even when I washed my face (with just water). It really did minimized my pores and got rid of some blackheads.
I was quite impressed with the results after I used it just once, and I'm definitely going to buy a full size and let you know if I'm going to be pleased with it.

Green line Natural clear - Matyfaing moisturizer
What it claims to do:  The cream provides a natural matte appearance. It soothes the skin, regulates sebum secretion and reduces the formation of new pimples. Enriched with natural honey extracts, it protects the skin against the intrusion of bacteria that cause inflamed acne, and promotes the healing of wounds caused by acne breakouts. The added lemongrass extract acts as an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent, provides an additional soothing effect and disinfects any small wounds caused by acne breakouts.
How to use it: Apply the cream on cleansed skin in the morning and in the evening.

Review: I applied it just once in the evening. It has the same smell as the 4in1. It's really light and not thick like other night creams, so it's definitely suitable for a daily moisturizer. It absorbs into the skin super fast and it does soothes your skin.
I must say that when I applied it I got a burning feeling in the cheeks area, so that was a minus, but I have really sensitive skin.
In the morning my skin was still smooth, a little bit oily on my T-zone and red on my cheeks.
I think that it would be better for a daily moisturizer and I wish I would used it under my foundation to see how it would work and if my T-zone would look oily.

Green line Natural clear - Tinted moisturizer
What it claims to do:  The tinted moisturizer in a natural shade covers any skin imperfections, especially the slight redness caused by skin irritation. It creates a more even skin tone and prevents new outbreaks. Enriched with natural honey extract, it protects the skin against the intrusion of bacteria that cause inflamed acne and promotes the healing of wounds caused by acne breakouts. The added lemongrass extract acts as an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent, provides an additional soothing effect and disinfects any small wounds caused by acne breakouts.
How to use it:  Apply the cream to cleansed skin in the morning or any time you wish to cover up skin imperfections.

Review: It doesn't covers any skin imperfections, like it claims, but it does covers redness, blackheads and it evens out your skin tone.
My skin felt smooth and it felt like I wasn't wearing any make-up.
I did apply a little bit of concealer under my eyes and set everything with translucent face powder, because I expected to look like a greasy mess.
I had it on for about five hours and it looked exactly the same and even my T-zone wasn't too oily.
It's a nice product but I would only recommended it for someone who has really perfect skin or if you just want to hydrate your skin with something that gives you a little bit of colour, before you apply your foundation.

After all I must say, that I was quite impress with all of the products. I expected that the moisturizer would break me out, because most of the creams do, but it didn't.
I was the most impressed with 4in1 and I'm going to buy a full size bottle, but I wouldn't really purchase other two products, because I know what I wouldn't use them.
