November favourites

Saturday, December 08, 2012

I know is kind of late, because it's already December but here are some things I've been loving in the month of November.

L to R: Ecotools Bamboo bronzer brush, Urban beauty united Tapered Blending Brush, Real Techniques blush brush

The first two brushes I bought recently and will be included in a upcoming beauty haul. First one is bronzer brush, but I use it for setting my foundation with powder. It's large so you easily get the right amount of powder all over your face. It's really soft and I have a few of their brushes and I think all of them are really good.
The second one is a part of Smokey eye brush kit, but you can purchase it individually as well. It's number 35. I haven't heard of this brand before and the kit wasn't that expensive so I thought I would try it. I didn't expect it to be this good and I really recommend this brush for blending.
The last one is by far my all time favorite blush brush. I bought this one when I was in London in May and I was foolish enough to buy just one. I can't wait to go back next year and purchase the whole set of brushes, because this brushes really are amazing and they aren't expensive either.
L to R: Garnier BB cream for combination to oily skin in light, Rimmel Wake me up concealer in ivory, Kiko eye base primer, E.L.F custom eyes eyes hadow in Pink ice

I use BB cream every day because it's quick and I don't want to sit all day at college with some heavy foundation. The first BB cream I bought was the original one from Garnier but it didn't work for me. At the end of the day I my face was so oily and no setting powder could fix it. So when this one came out, I decided to try it out and I love it. It gives just enough coverage, it evens out my skin tone and it doesn't look cakey.
The concealer for Rimmel is amazing. It covers my dark circles under the eyes and it brights up the whole face. The sad part is that I'm running low on it and you can't get it in Slovenia. One more thing I need to add on my London shopping list.
Also in London I bought this Kiko eye primer because it was so cheap. I didn't expect it to work, but it was a real bargain. But it works wonderfully. I would dare to say it works just as good as my UD primer potion. I use it every day and at the end of the day my eye make up looks the same as in the morning. I'm also running low on this one.
The last one is custom eye shadow in Pink ice from E.L.F. I really like this shade - it's shimmery champagne colour with a slight pink undertone and I wore it almost every day. I usually ware it as my brow bone highlighter and in the corners of my eyes. If I'm feeling lazy or just running late all apply it all over my eyelid and it just makes me look more awake.

L to R: Mac eye shadow in Mythology, Loreal False lash Telescopic mascara, MAC blush in Pinch me
I don't know what to say about this eye shadow except the fact that I absolutely love it and it's an amazing colour. The pigmentation is amazing, the same as in every product from MAC that I tried so far. I use it in my crease and it just adds something more to the whole look.
I bought this mascara recently as well. In the past I had the golden one, and I really liked it, so I had to tried this one out. I love it. It makes my lashes so much longer and I like how it separates them. I have one in blackest black, I think.
At first when I bought the blush I really liked it, but then when I wore it a few times it just didn't look right on me. But recently I've been obsessing over it again. It's very pigmented so a little goes a long way, I think it just gives my face this healthy look (the kind of look your cheeks have when you're out in the cold and when you come inside again), especially now in winter.

L to R. Misslyn lip gloss in no.18, E.L.F lip liner in Natural blush & Studio matte lip colour in Natural and Figs&Rouge Peppermint and Tea tree balm

I have really been into nude lips in November. So the first three products are my favorite combination for nude lips. The lip gloss is one of my all time favorite ones, it's just the perfect nude colour and the formulation is amazing. I repurchase this one a few times already.
The Figs&Rouge balm is also a must have for me. It works wonders if you have dry lips and it smells amazing.

L to R: Calvin Klein Euphoria perfume, Aldo Vandini Macadamia and vanilla body oil

I don't usually wear the same perfume every day because I have quite a lot of them and I like to switch between scents, but this month I really liked Euphoria. I wore it around 75% of the time and I just can get enough of this smell.
I've had this body oil for a long time and I didn't use it much. But I run out of my body lotion and I decided to use up the products I already have at home. I really don't know why I stopped using this because it smells soooo good and it makes my skin so soft.
Last favorite for November is this NOTD combination. I love purple and I love sparkles. So what better combination than this :) I used E.L.F nail polish in Royal Purple and Essence It's purplicious topper.
